The easiest way of being in contact with English during your day is listening to songs. Most of the commercial ones are in this language, so it will be very easy for you to improve your listening skills while you enjoy your favourite music.

It could seem hard work at the beginning but it really is worth it! Reading in English will enlarge your vocabulary and improve your writing much more than doing grammar exercises. Besides, you will learn another kind of English that is not taught at school.

 

Learn 10 new words everyday

Learning new words everyday will improve your vocabulary a lot. Set yourself a convenient time during your day (in the mornings, for example). It will only take you 5 minutes but you will notice a huge difference.

 

Contact with English people

Nowadays there are many opportunities to be in contact with people from all over the world thanks to the internet and Social Media. Take advantage of that and get in contact with other people to speak English through forums, Facebook groups, etc. You will see how much your writing skills can improve when you have no options but to speak in English to communicate with others.

 

Use your phone and computer in English

This could seem a very uncomfortable option but you will realise that it is actually a very good idea in order to learn some extra vocabulary. You could be surprised about how many new words you will learn unconsciously!
