CELTA Cost and Dates

CELTA cost

£1,240 (including Cambridge Assessment Fee)

Our Full time and Part time Courses are both the same price. Acceptance on a CELTA course is dependent on an assessment task and interview.

How to make a payment

You may pay by:

  1. Credit or debit card
  2. Bank transfer in £ sterling. However, please note that International Bank Transfers and Bankers Draft payments will incur a £15 charge
  3. In cash by coming into the School

Deposits and fees

Acceptance for CELTA does not mean that a place on a course has been reserved for you.

Your place will not be secured till you have paid the full course fee.

A deposit of £100 will reserve your place.

Full fees are due three weeks prior to the start date of the course.

If the balance of fees is not received by this time, Language Link reserves the right to accept another suitable candidate and return your deposit to you if the course is oversubscribed.

You will need to inform us in writing if you wish to cancel a course. Our terms depend on when the cancellation is received:

  • Up to two weeks prior to the start of the course: full refund of deposit or fees paid.
  • From two weeks prior to the start of the course to the actual start date:

(i) if Language Link is able to find another candidate to take the place, a refund of fees paid, less a £200 administration fee.
(ii) if another candidate for the place cannot found, we regret no refund of fees paid

  • After a course has commenced, fees or any part thereof are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Transferring to a later CELTA course

Requests to transfer to a later CELTA course must be put in writing. Our terms will, again, depend on when the request is received and availability of places.

  • Up to two weeks prior to the start of the original course: deposit or fees paid may be transferred to a later course without penalty.
  • Transfer to a later course cannot be guaranteed.
  • If a later course is not fully subscribed we will do our best to accommodate your transfer.
  • After a course has commenced, no transfer to another course is possible.

Insurance cover

You may wish to consider insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances.
